Green factory in Agios Stefanos

This project deals with the transformation of an abandoned industrial brick factory, situated next to a forest area. The site is 25 km from the center of Athens, at its northeastern edge, close to Penteli mountain and the Marathon lake. The conceptual approach focuses on the transformation of this post - industrial ruin into a "green" site. The master plan includes gardens, enclosed gardens, areas where visitors can cultivate themselves, an organic farmer's and garden market and a coffee shop. The aim is to create an area that will serve as a catalyst for new ideas on relationships between nature and individuals.
