Interview Toyo Ito at GreekArchitects.gr
GreekArchitects and Antreas Giacumacatos was found in 13 Venice Biennale and spoke to the important Japanese architect Toyo Ito.(Italian and Japanese)
Toyo Ito in discussion with Andrea Giakoumakatos on the ground floor of the Japanese pavilion at the Giardini, talked about the Japanese proposal in this Biennale that has as its central axis, the effects of natural disasters and the global economic and social crisis. What the Japanese architect said could be characterized as political commentary, since with his architecture slams to the Japanese central government.
Toyo Ito snagged the Golden Lion at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale for his work on the Japanese national pavilion.
