Public discusion: An Ark: Agriculture, Social Practices and Architecture

In the context of the Greek Participation ("The Ark. Old Seeds for New Cultures") in the 12th International Architecture Exhibition- La Biennale di Venezia we are organizing a public discusion about the project in the city of Venice entitled: "An Ark: Agriculture, Social Practices and Architecture".

The event will take place in the Sala delle Colonne at Ca' Giustinian (Piazza San Marco) on the 27th of October 2010, at 15.00-18.00.

The discussion will be held among the following invited speakers from Italy and Greece:
Luca Maria Francesco Fabris (Architect, Politecnico di Milano), Panayotis Pangalos (Architect, University of Patras), Vasiliki Petridou (Architect, University of Thessaly), Yorgos Tzirtzilakis (Architect, University of Thessaly),members of the Group Weimar Public (architects and artists: Loukas Bartatilas, Sofia Dona, Eriphyli Veneri, Thalia Raftopoulou), and the curators. We attach here the introductory text to the catalog which is supposed to be the theoretical frame for the Greek Pavilionsʼ installation.
