The organisation, the form and the functionalities, fill the requirements of a modern central bus station, with emphasis in the linearity of space, in the direct movements of pedestrians and vehicles, in easy accessibility and in clear functions. Ticket vendors have been placed in direct relation with the space of departure of the corresponding bus. Thus, the access and the service of passengers are easier and faster (system kiss and ride).
At the same time, the whole roof has been planted with trees, offering positive environmental feedback to the city. This green space functions as a big park with squares and rest areas, which will attract people from the local area and beyond. The green spaces gives the building ecological characteristics, by compensating for part of the pollutants that it emits to the environment.
