Today's intensification of social, cultural, economic, environmental and spatial complexity amplifies the demand for flexible and robust architectural products, able to accommodate and successfully respond to such requirements.

The project proposes a smart, user-driven assembly of stand-alone shell-structures. The adaptable system enables numerous spatial layouts for hosting temporary or long-term events, thus addressing the increased demand for personalization/customization. Within the above context, the project aims to offer easy, rapid and reversible formations in response to a variety of parameters such as type and requirements of event, occupancy loads, budget, accessibility, site and environmental conditions.

The physical product is coupled by its digital equivalent. A parametric software, compiled as a stand-alone application enables on-line visualization, cost-estimation, and module configuration of the desired instance suited to the user.

The project aims to shift the boundaries of modular architecture and attempts to illustrate the potential of digital technologies and especially parametric design in handling complex configurational problems. Consequently, a low tech system of manually adjustable structural members enables maximum possibilities flexibility, and efficiency when combined and controlled by a digital system. Physical and digital are therefore interwoven into a single product able to address contemporary socio-spatial complexities.
